Stayed in the comfort suite and really liked it! Bathroom was great, A/C worked to a charm, room was large but cute. Kind of wished we had stayed in the Old Town area, but it was no problem at all getting up there...maybe a 20 minute walk to the square with the Castle half that. The morning breakfast was very good...about every other day had the option of ordering made to order eggs/omelettes, etc. included.

Area in old Jewish quarter has great atmosphere and near flea market at Plac Nawy, easy walk to Wawel castle. Breakfast was good and in Italian restaurant in basement with great character. Many restaurants in Krakow old quarter are in basements and are very well done. Staff were very helpful about times museums and castle were open during holiday period.
Hotel Karmel is a charming, spotless, friendly place on a quiet Krakow street. If I ever return to Krakow, this will be my spot. I recommend it heartily.
